The Technology Committee provides a forum to address issues relating to both technology and business in Taiwan -- presenting the latest product and service trends and highlighting emerging opportunities - with a strong focus on information technology and its related industries, including industries as diverse as business process technology, biotechnology, telecommunications technology, nanotechnology, GIS, innovation incubation, biotechnology, value added agriculture, e-commerce, aerospace, electronics, energy, manufacturing automation, etc. The Committee also promotes the interests of Chamber members, including facilitating meetings with Taiwan and U.S. government and regulatory officials and encouraging networking and business development among active member companies. Philip Diller, the committee's Chairman is a principle of Pristine Communications, a long-time player in Greater China's technology localization industry.
